We are seeking for experienced people for the following position:

SENIOR SURVEYOR - 924995
(Kalimantan Based)

Some of your duties will include: 
• Determine the work activities and priorities of the Survey groups and Lead, organize and provide direction for Survey Teams to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in people performance, HSE&Q outcomes and the business results. 
• Continuously improve the systems and procedures by which the survey section work in order to enhance project operations and to provide information more efficiently and in the most useful format; 
• Manage the designated filing system for all on-site survey documents and data; 
• To continuously monitor equipment status and condition and to ensure equipment is appropriate for the task. Develop and implement efficient practices using available resources and technology, review new systems and technologies; 
• Ensure survey equipment is registered and calibrated to the required standard and to within the accuracy specified by the manufacturer; 
• Ensure that all survey personnel are suitably trained to recognize the hazards associated with machine interaction whilst performing survey tasks; 
• Assist to provide high quality and appreciated Survey services, including tender advice, project start up capability and on-going monthly reconciliation support; 
• Identify and recommend alternate solutions, which may provide more efficient outcomes and greater profitability.

What skills and experience do you need? 
• Applicants should have a minimum Tertiary qualifications in Surveying / Geodetic Engineering with 5 years’ experience in similar role as Sr. Surveyor; 
• Proficient in construction technology, Engineering and Surveying Principles, Surveying Equipment and applications, Engineering and Surveying software, industry standards and best practice, HS&E, Surveying and Engineering software, and computer data management and manipulation; should Understanding of various types of highway construction components such as substructure, superstructure, embankment etc; understand and implement the Design & Project Management Plan; understand the approval process for Design Approvals; team culture and experience in design management; able to draft reports, and plan work tasks; 
• Accordance with the Standards, Specifications, Schedules, QA/QC, Safety, Environmental and Programme requirements and are within budgeted cost levels. 
• Good leadership, independent and mature personality, self-motivated, results driven and good negotiation skills; high initiative; performance driven; good planning skill; good communication skills and proficient in written and spoken English.

COORDINATOR SAFETY – PLANT & SUPPORT - 924982
(Kalimantan Based)

Some of your duties will include: 
• Lease with the project Superintendent Safety to identify programs to ensure Safety compliance; 
• Conducts internal monthly audits of all department and subcontractor; 
• formulate Plant & Support safety improvement program and monitor of the implementation of the program; 
• Conduct inspection of specific high risk work activities and follow through on outcomes; 
• Ensure compliance with TCI Safety program and checking programs are in place; 
• Prepare Plant & Support safety yearly program as guidance; 
• Participate and conduct risk assessments and participate in risk assessment programmes were required; 
• Participate in all high risk incident investigations and ensure that records are kept as per TCI and client requirements; 
• Participate in and keep records of weekly checks, monthly internal TCI audit and follow up action plans; 
• Assist line Supervisor and Superintendent to meet their OH&S accountabilities; 
• Client liaison and other Safety duties and responsibilities as directed by the Safety.

What skills and experience do you need? 
• Tertiary Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental qualifications or relevant qualifications, have experience in open pit coal mining operation practice is more preferable with 5 years’ experience as Coordinator Safety position; 
• The candidate should have strong knowledge about safety, health & environment standard (SMK3, OHSAS 18001:2007, M-Safe) and government safety regulation; understand about HSE standard on mining and plant activities; Familiar with Safety management at all levels, Focus on Risk Management. 
• The candidate should fluent in English both oral and written, and proficient in computer literacy; strong leadership; strong communication both of external and internal; Planning & Organising; Risk Management; Problem solving; Teamwork; Personal Effectiveness; Personal Impact; coaching/ mentoring Leadership.

COORDINATOR SAFETY - OPERATION - 924983
(Kalimantan Based)

Some of your duties will include: 
• Implementing and coordinating of the safety program for all department activities in compliance with TCI and client standards and procedures and act as an expert safety trainer, advisor, inspector, and investigator as required; 
• Lease with the project Superintendent Safety to identify programs to ensure Safety compliance; 
• Conducts internal monthly audits of all department and subcontractor; 
• Formulate operation safety improvement program and monitor of the implementation of the program;

• Provide direction, advice, assistance and materials to Department Heads and members to helps them fulfil their Safety responsibilities; 
• Promote safety through safety training, coaching supervisor to build their capability with regard to work safely; 
• Client liaison and other Safety duties and responsibilities as directed by the Safety.

What skills and experience do you need? 
• Tertiary Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental qualifications, have experience in open pit coal mining operation practice is more preferable with 5 years’ experience as Coordinator Safety position;

Some of your duties will include: 
• Coordinating all line supervisions in the workplace of the removal of overburden/inter-burden in a safe, effective manner on time and within budget in a designated area; 
• To actively coordinate with trainer to achieve productivity and production; 
• To lead, organise and provide direction for employees to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in people performance, HSE&Q outcomes and the business results. Set an example for all in the workplace to follow in safety, leadership, attendance and personal behaviour. 
• Maintain and facilitate clear communication with all stakeholders, clients, customers, suppliers with respect to operational capability, performance, and resource requirements.

What skills and experience do you need? 
• Applicants should have a minimum graduated from Senior High School or Degree in Mining/Civil Engineering is preferred; requires a minimum 5 years’ professional experience in similar role as Supervisor Mining in large open cut mining operation; 
• Mining heavy industry experience is essential; could operate mining equipment; 
• Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; have ability in resource planning and OHS&E supervision; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; be able to operate computer; conflict resolution; sound decision making skills; Posses POP (Pengawas Operasional Pratama) certification at Mine and Energy Department; be able to work on shift roster (day and night shift).

SUPERVISOR PUMP - 924999
(Kalimantan Based)

Some of your duties will include: 
• Plan ahead to set up the gear in good shape for the oncoming shift; 
• Follow Thiess standards and planning and do so on time and on budget while satisfying the needs of the client and the company; 
• Lead, organize and provide direction for employees to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in people performance, HSE&Q outcomes and the business results.

What skills and experience do you need? 
• Minimum graduate from Senior High School / Technical High School, with previous experience in pump operation in Pit / Mining as Supervisor Pump; 
• Having strong leadership experience & self-motivation, English proficiency spoken and written, supportive, communicative, hard worker, team player, and able to work under pressure are preferred character traits.

SUPERVISOR ENGINEER COST CONTROL- 925000
(Kalimantan Based)

Some of your duties will include: 
• Determine the work activities and priorities of the Cost control groups and Lead, organize and provide direction for cost control Teams to ensure outstanding performance is achieved
• Provide direct supervision to project control team to optimize the utilization of systems in managing their budget setup, cost analysis, progress/earn value, forecast and review weekly/monthly report. 
• Monitor analytical process, improvements, and supporting for Infomine System implementation on site; 
• Monitor validation all report from Infomine System regarding production result, time allocation, cost code allocation and others data related;

What skills and experience do you need? 
• Applicants should have a minimum Diploma or Bachelor degree in Economic, Civil, Industrial or Mining Engineering with minimum 5 years in the mining or construction industry in similar role as Supervisor Engineer Cost Control and minimum 3 years in site based with demonstrated project management, cost control and planning skills; proficient in Ms.Project, Ms.Office, and Desktop Publishing Package; proficient in Resources Analysis; proficient in Cost Control utilizing software such as JDE or other ERP will be additional advantage

SUPERVISOR PLANT - 925028
(Kalimantan Based)

Some of your duties will include: 
• Ensure that the maintenance department goals are achieved; ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between workshop and operations personnel regarding breakdowns safety issues, and prioritizing of the equipment repairs; 
• Ensure plant operational activities are completed in a safe, timely, efficient, environmentally aware and cost conscious manner; 
• Ensure there is effective utilization of plant personnel and resources to achieve optimum performance in all facets; 
• Participate in the planning process to manage forward purchasing activities for components and parts; assist Plant Planning & Sites in the development of structured plant maintenance schedules; 
• Optimize major rebuild schedules with Plant Planning; Manage the relevant mobile plant assets to ensure 90% availability by proactive and continuous improvements to the asset base; 
• Lead, organize and provide direction for employees to ensure required performance is achieved in people performance, HSE&Q outcomes and the business results; 
• Proactively train workforce to meet plant operational requirements; 
• Liaise with OEM’s, dealers and suppliers to purchase parts and to optimize plant operational and cost performance.

What skills and experience do you need? 
• Applicants should have minimum Senior High School, Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Trade Specialist is preferred; requires a minimum 5 years’ professional experience in similar role as Supervisor Plant with relevant qualification in Mechanical Repair and Mechanic Supervision in mining industry, planning of daily shut down schedule and breakdown repair; 
• mechanical repair experience in Liebherr, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Coal hauling and lifting equipment; handling diagnostic skill in all aspects of electrical repairs; 
• good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; have ability in resource planning and OHS&E supervision; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; be able to operate computer; conflict resolution; sound decision making skills; Posses POP (Pengawas Operasional Pratama) certification at Mine and Energy Department; be able to work on shift roster (day and night shift).

PLANT PLANNER COMPONENT - 925005
(Kalimantan Based)

Some of your duties will include: 
• Contribute to TCI Plant objectives through the establishment and ongoing refinement of a best practice model for supporting on plant maintenance planning and engineering related issues; 
• Coordinating the component forecasting with OEM’s and component planners and ensuring the component availability are well managed; 
• Actual duties will vary depending on site, department structure and current plant/industry related issued; 
• Ensure planning department goals are achieved in component scheduling; ensure the component forecasting are generated properly then to be distributed to appropriate people in a timely manner; 
• Ensure any component availability exposures in the 1 and 3 year forecast are identified and solutions recommended, to be involved proactively in component allocation/prioritizing to manage the component shortage; 
• Provide planning support to manage component issues and standard part list development; 
• Ensure JDE is fully understood and used to its fullest potential to record the machines/components history accurately; 
• Ensure Plant related systems are clearly understood and used to support planning/engineering related issues.

What skills and experience do you need? 
• Tertiary qualifications Trade or Mechanical Engineering qualification or Thiess Apprentice graduated with 5 years experiences in site maintenance and planning in the Mining Industry; familiar with Heavy equipments: Dozer (Caterpillar/Komatsu), Excavator (Hitachi/Komatsu/Liebherr), Ingersoll Rand Drills, Dump Truck (Caterpillar/Komatsu); have working knowledge of mining equipment components and experience in safe work practices; have skills in methods, principles and technique used in costing. 
• High initiative; performance driven; good planning skill with capability of managing relationship and develop others; analysis & reporting skills, excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.

ENGINEER LONG TERM/ MINE PLANNING - 924990
(Kalimantan Based)

Some of your duties will include: 
• Provide the technical mine design, scheduling, monitoring function and data analysis for the mining operation by ensuring maximum productivities, coal recovery in the most cost effective safe manner, providing competent and professional long term mine planning.

What skills and experience do you need? 
• Minimum of Bachelor degree of Mining Engineering with minimum of 5 years’ experience in open pit coal mining operation, previous experience at a mine site preferred and minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role as Engineer Mine Planning/ Long Term; 
• Proficient in mining principles, mine design concepts & operations in both coal, mine operation regulatory requirements; proven skills in Mine Scheduling tools utilizing software such as Minescape, Xpac, Talpac will be an advantage; possess government certification of POP (Pratama Competency Test); 
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, good analytical, responsible and adaptable; Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written; and computer literate.

ENGINEER SHORT TERM/ PIT ENGINEER - 923933

Some of your duties will include: 
• Provide a short term planning service that guides the mining operation clearly; 
• To ensure the target set by the project are met in a time and quality manner; 
• To ensure mine planning provided productively and maximum coal recovery in the most cost effectively and safe manner; 
• To ensure agreed mine planning followed by mining operation; 
• To communicate short term planning issues to mining operation; directing to mining operation in field for progress mining in daily basis; 
• Provide daily and weekly plan for directing mining operation to achieve the target.

What skills and experience do you need? 
• Minimum of Bachelor degree of Mining Engineering or Geology with minimum of 5 years’ experience in open pit coal mining operation, previous experience at a mine site preferred and minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role as Engineer Short Term; 
• Proficient in mining principles, mine design concepts & operations in both coal, mine operation regulatory requirements; proven skills in Mine Scheduling tools utilising software such as Minescape, Xpac, Talpac will be an advantage; possess government certification of POP (Pratama Competency Test);
