To support its progressive growth and build the organizational capability, eni Muara Bakau BV is looking for qualified personnel with high motivation, initiative, and integrity to fill in the following positions:
Network Engineer (IT-01)
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
▪ Create and maintain documentation / procedures as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
▪ Collaborate with eni HQ and department team in planning network capacity needs.
▪ Perform server and security audits.
▪ Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPSs, and other hardware.
▪ Design, implement, and maintain VoIP phone system to include phone servers, phones, and faxes.
▪ Design, implement, and maintain Audio/Video systems.
▪ Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
▪ Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry.
▪ Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances.
▪ Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed and prepare network performance statistics and reports.
▪ Manage network security. Analyze and resolve network hardware, and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
▪ Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
▪ Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
▪ Manage servers, including database, e-mail, printers, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software including and system backups and recovery.
Qualifications & Experience:
▪ Education: Minimum of Undergraduate degree in technical discipline or computer science / information technology from an accredited institution.
▪ Hold minimum one of networking certification: Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDA) or other vendor specific certificates, such as Juniper Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE);
▪ Training and Courses:
▪ Employee Induction including HSE Awareness
▪ Windows server administration
▪ Cisco networking
▪ Cisco IP Telephony
▪ Fluent knowledge of English and local language preferred
▪ 2 years of Oil and Gas Industry experience. 5 years of ICT experience.
▪ Knowledge, technical or professional skills:
▪ Project Management,
▪ Problem Solving & Troubleshooting,
▪ LAN & Networking
▪ Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design, implementation and configuration.
▪ Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
▪ Proven experience with VoIP phone systems.
▪ Good hardware troubleshooting experience.
▪ Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits.
▪ Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
▪ Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
▪ Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
▪ Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
▪ Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
▪ Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
▪ Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
▪ Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
▪ Strong customer service orientation.
▪ Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Telecom Engineer (IT-02)
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
▪ Performs a wide variety of installation, configuration and upgrading of Telecommunication system (PAGA, Microwave, VSAT, Trunking Radio, Marine Radio, Aeronautical Radio, WiMAX, Entertainment System, GMDSS, etc.).
▪ Provides investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure.
▪ Manages and continuously improves/enhances the operations of existing Telecom infrastructure
▪ Manages System documentation
▪ Maintains company assets and contracts for all related services
▪ Provides user support for general IT matters
Safety Responsibilities:
▪ Comply with requirements of the Safety, Health and Environmental laws of Indonesia and obey the corporate policy of eni Indonesia on Safety, Health and Environment, and to practice eni Indonesia Safety Systems.
▪ Provide safe and healthy conditions of work to subordinate personnel and control over the compliance by the personnel all safety and labor protection rules and regulations
▪ HSES awareness in all duties and activities / compliance enforcement with general HSES rules
Qualifications & Experience:
▪ Education: Minimum of Undergraduate degree in technical discipline or Telecom/Computer engineering technology from an accredited institution.
▪ Trainings and courses :
▪ HSE Awareness
▪ System Administration
▪ Employee induction program
▪ Basic Sea Survival & HUET
▪ Radio Operator
▪ - Language: Fluent in oral and written of English language. Minimum TOEFL or equivalent of 550
▪ - Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in similar position, preferably in Oil and Gas industries.
▪ Knowledge, technical or Professional Skills: Updated general knowledge of enterprise scale infrastructure systems technology
▪ CCNA/CCNP Certified would be an advantage

▪ Well versed in at least four or more systems below:
▪ LAN & WAN System
▪ Wireless Radio Communication Systems (Microwave, VSAT, WiMAX, Conventional/Trunk Radio, Telecom Tower, etc)
▪ Navigation Systems (Marine and Aeronautical)
▪ Security Systems (PAGA, CCTV and Access Control)
▪ Entertainment System
▪ IP Telephony and Video Conference System
▪ Industrial Control System Security (PLC / SCADA / DCS)
