SUPERINTENDENT PLANT OPERATIONS - 925154
(East Kalimantan Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Promote and Demonstrate strong teamwork and leadership skills
• Ensure plant operational activities are completed in a safe, timely, efficient, environmentally aware and cost conscious manner
• Ensure there is effective utilisation of plant personnel and resources to achieve optimum performance in all facets
• Participate in the planning process to manage forward purchasing activities for components and parts
• Manage the relevant mobile plant assets to ensure 90% availability by proactive and continuous improvements to the asset base
• Ensure absolute compliance with all Thiess maintenance systems and procedures
• Lead, organise and provide direction for employees to ensure required performance is achieved in people performance, HSE&Q outcomes and the business results
• Proactively train workforce to meet plant operational requirements
• Liaise with OEM’s, Dealers and Suppliers to optimise plant operational and cost performance
• Actively contribute to a positive teamwork environment at all times
• Communicate openly and honestly at all times
What skills and experience do you need?
• 15 years industry mining maintenance experience.
• Preferable applicant is an expatriate.
• People handling skill diagnostic skills in all aspects of mechanical repairs.
• Mechanic experience on Thiess equipment e.g. Cat, Komatsu, Liebherr, Coal hauling and lifting equipment.
• Knowledge of welding procedures
• IT Literacy
• Ability to work on a fly-in-out overseas mine site
COORDINATOR TRAINING - 925176
(Sangatta Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• To coordinate responsibility for general site training activity & on-job assessment coordination for Project all personnel’s in order to increase their productivity, and repair capabilities
• To coordinate with Managers/Superintendents/Supervisors each department related to compliance of mandatory training;
• To coordinate, communicate and liaise with related parties for make a plan and organize training also to ensure compliance of training system and procedures;
What skills and experience do you need?
• Tertiary Degree from HR, Industrial Engineering, Management, or S2 prost graduated, with minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role as Training Coordinator, or Trainer / HR.
• The candidate should have excellent communication skills-written & verbal English and Bahasa Indonesian presents arguments, strong leadership, act decisively, team player, can work under pressure situation, problem solving and negotiation, self-motivated, have a good planning skill and high initiatives, familiar to handle general admin task and good computer skills.
SENIOR SUPERVISOR MECHANIC - 925170
(Balikpapan Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• To rebuild major components/engineering sub-assemblies listed in the Company Component Rebuild Program to achieve the maximum reliability is achieved to a profesional standard (cost effective, meet timeline, reliability as per Plant KPI)
What skills and experience do you need?
• Recognised industry trade qualifications equivalent to 85 points under Australian National Metals & Engineering industry competency standards
• 5 years previous experience in a similar role
SUPERVISOR AUTO ELECTRICAL - 925171
(Balikpapan Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Leading the operations and maintenance, day to day both Plant TMRP and Kariangau yard operations including logistics, productions and maintenance while ensuring compliance with all labor, safety environment and corporate policies and regulations

What skills and experience do you need?
• Minimum 2 years experience ina similar role at a mine site
• Tertiary degree in Mechanic or Mechanical Engineering

DRAFTER - 925169
(Balikpapan Based)
Some of your duties will include:
• Provide fit for purpose drawings to fabricate or repair plant and equipment required
• Identify and implement practical / engineering solution for Plant Department
• Provide support accross Company projects for welding, fabrication and plant issues
• Work in close association with National Superintendent and Expatriate Specialist to develop and sustain a cost effective safe Welding Fabrication Workshop at BSF
• Participate in projects or tasks as and when requested by Plant Managers
• Fully understand Company Safety and Plant systems and procedures
What skills and experience do you need?
• Tertiary education in an engineering or welding fabrication discipline
• Must have had experience in design and draft for structural or welding fabrication discipline
• Advantageous have previous experience in a mine workshop environment
• Advantageous to have experience in welding fabrication workshop
