Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mine covers an area of 30 km2 that falls under the sixth generation of Contract of Work (Cow) covering a total area of 1,639 km2.

The resource base on 31 December 2015 includes 7.4 Mos. of gold and 69 Mos. of silver. Production commenced at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of Martabe Gold Mine is 4.5 tap ore to produce in excess of 250,000 oz. of gold and 2-3 Mos. of silver per annum.

PT Agincourt Resources engages approximately 2,300 employees and contractors, more than 98% Indonesians, of which 71% were recruited from South Tapanuli and other regions in North Sumatra.

MECHANICAL SUPERINTENDENT (PRO 1703026)

This position will be based in Martabe Site within Processing Department, working on schedule 4 Weeks On ; 2 weeks Off and reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.

The role of the Mechanical Superintendent is to:
• Provide leadership, managerial support and technical guidance to the supervisory team to ensure the safe and effective management of the mechanical maintenance of the Martabe Processing Plant and support infrastructure.
• Ensure the optimal utilization, planning and scheduling of all assets, resources, equipment, contractors and people through by using and enforcing the maintenance processes, procedures work management systems and Pronto.
• Assist in the Management of the shift crew supervisors to ensure that the weekly and shutdown maintenance work plans and projects are executed safely and in line with the approved work plan and production schedule.
• Assist in the develop the annual maintenance and capital budgets, long-term maintenance plans and strategies by identifying all planned and/or probable maintenance and project works required to ensure the budgeted plant performance and integrity.
• Review the weekly and monthly maintenance plans in conjunction with the supervisors to prioritizing plant requirements and optimize internal and external resource allocation and the integration of the mechanical maintenance works with electrical and the process department requirements.
• Ensure effective communication is maintained between the maintenance management team and production management team to optimize maintenance activates and plant availability. Maintain effective communications with all Key Stakeholders, including E&I, Processing, Mining, PTAR support departments and contractors regarding planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Assist is the recruitment of mechanical employees to ensure optimal levels of manning and skills coverage required to achieve the Maintenance Department’s objectives and service provision levels.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experiences: 
1. Graduation from a recognized TAFE or Technical collage obtaining an Engineering trade qualification in a relevant mechanical field. 
2. 7 years or more Experiences in maintenance management roles or higher in a mineral processing plant. 
3. Thorough knowledge of technical skills development in a developing country, training techniques, standards, equipment, tools used in the mechanical engineering trades. 
4. Thorough knowledge of occupational health and safety within the mineral processing industry. 
5. Superior ability to fault find and identify reliability issues with fixed plant mineral processing operations. 
6. Ability to deliver effective written and oral report, instructions and presentations. 
7. High level of computer literate with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook. 
8. A thorough understanding on the mechanical workings and maintenance of material handling, crushing, grinding and commutation circuits, pumping and pipeline systems. 
9. Superior work ethic, be able to effectively communicate with all staff and display a high degree of respect to the local people and their culture. 
10. Have Senior First-Aid qualifications: 
• Cert IV in Training & Assessing
• Post-trade qualification from a higher education institution in an engineering field.

MINE HYDROGEOLOGIST (CODE : MH-I/17)

Develop and maintain site hydrology-hydrogeology and dewatering plans in support of the mine production and development plans. The hydrogeologist will work closely with the geotechnical, mine geologists, and planning engineers to monitor slope safety and stability, hot water (geothermal), and storm water runoff.

Duties : 
- Comply with the Company Occupational Health and Safety requirements. 
- Conduct geotechnical-hydrology/hydrgeology inspections of pits, waste dumps, stockpiles and tailing dams. 
- Provide hydrology/ hydrogeology advice in to mine design and production. 
- Continuous improvement of hydrogeology practices and procedures and interact with service line managers. 
- Ensuring pit wall stability and quality control of support measures through the supervision of ground control, quality and testing programs. 
- Collecting, analyzing and evaluating hydrology-hydrogeology data.

Requirements : 
• Degree qualifications in Mining / Geology Engineering or related discipline. 
• Minimum 5 years’ experience on an operational mine site. 
• Experience performing hydrogeological field investigations. 
• Experience in planning, scheduling and managing field projects and preparing reports. 
• Able to review, develop and initiate ground water monitoring systems to support and validate ground water and infiltration models. 
• Able to initiate, plan and manage hydrogeological investigations in support of dewatering and infiltration plans. 
• Able to work with geotechnical engineer to help identify areas of concern and create plans of action that will maximize the safety and minimize the risks in these areas. 
• Has knowledge of hydrology-geohydrology analysis and modelling software. 
• Has excellent communication skills. 
• Has previous experience working with hot water (geothermal) environmental beneficial.

SUPERINTENDENT LAND MANAGEMENT - (CR 1701006)

This position will be based at Martabe Site and Community Relations Department, working on schedule 4 Weeks on ; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Community Relations Manager.

The role of Superintendent Land Management is responsible either for the completion process of the land acquisition and ensures all land acquisition and uses are in accordance with the applicable government regulations, or securing the land acquired from any illegal occupancy or cultivators. The skill of managing conflict caused by the land issues is a must since the operations used to be disrupted either because of the illegal land ownership or overlapping land ownership which ended with disputes.

Beside, many land claimers sued management even after the area be mined. This condition needs a strongly knowledge and skill of processing the legal documents of land and finding resolution of each dispute. Therefore, maintain and established good and professional relationship with local government institutions and government land team is an obligation to this position. Dealing with landowners and other interested parties is a sensitive issue. It takes a person who has high integrity and honesty during the negotiation process of land acquisition.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience: 
1. Bachelor Degree in Law or Geography or Social science, preferably Master Degree in Law. 
2. Minimum 10 years experience in managing the land acquisition, land monitoring and GIS database, preferably experience in Mining Company.

This position requires the incumbent to assist the Training Manager in the organisation and development of the company’s competency based training system. Role of this position is responsible to plan, organize and control the activities of the PTAR Contracts section and manage commercial aspects of all contracting activities throughout all user departments in accordance with PTAR standards, policies and procedures, Indonesian Law and Contract of Work while at the same time ensuring a high level of support and transparency to user departments for contract bidding, negotiating, preparation, administration and management and applying an ethical, efficient, risk managed, consistent and cost effective approach at every stage of the process. The Superintendent - Contracts Department is responsible for all site Contracts which encompass a full range of services across the whole Martabe operation and can vary greatly in scope of work, criticality, value and risk profile. All of these contracts no matter the size, complexity and value contribute to the successful operation of the Martabe Gold Mine. PTAR ethical standards must be maintained at all times with a clear focus on our company and employee code of ethics, confidentiality and company values.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience: 
1. Graduated from Degree in business, law, engineering or equivalent. 
2. Certified professional in Contracts & Procurement with a strong focus on Contract Law, Contract drafting and regulatory compliance. 
3. Minimum 15+ years’ experience in contract management within a medium to large mining operation including project construction. 
4. At least 10 years experience in a similar role. 
5. Experience in high dollar services and preparing complex services or Contracts. 
6. Sound understanding of relevant Indonesian business, legal system, company law, immigration, manpower, tax, importation, mines and energy regulations. 
7. Contract writing, including technical capabilities, Scope of Work (SOW) and commercial terms & condition. 
8. Strong Contract Management skills. Able to competently manage the contractor and ensure compliance to contract terms and conditions. 
9. Well-developed computer skills to be able to implement and maintain effective processes and procedures. 
10. Exposure to PRONTO or similar ERP system. 
11. Strong analytical capabilities and negotiating skills, sound business sense, advanced English language documentation skills with high attention to detail. 
12. Good communication skill both Indonesia and English
13. Good interpersonal skill
